Unique Winter Camping
Explore America’s longest underground river by boat. Walk, crawl and climb through an undeveloped part of the caverns (not seen on our regular tours). Experience camping overnight 100 feet underground in Canyon Hall, high above the hidden banks of Myst’ry River.

Basic Rules
Bluespring Cavern’s Overnight Adventure is an experience in the natural world. For the enjoyment and safety of all, participants must follow the directions of our staff supervising the experience with assistance from group leaders. Rowdy behavior is not acceptable.
Our wild tour is moderately strenuous and may not be suitable for individuals not in good health or with disabilities. As in all adventure programs injuries are possible, especially when rowdy behavior or disregard for rules is involved.
- No running or horseplay is allowed in the Caverns. Everyone must stay with their group.
- The Caverns are protected by Indiana Law. Nothing is to be disturbed or removed.
- All persons must follow instructions of our staff and should plan to stay for the entire program. No “wandering” is allowed.
- No cooking is allowed. Candles and gas lanterns may not be used in the Caverns. Snacks are available at our snack bar.
- We expect general courtesy and a good attitude from all participants.
Advance Deposit
An advance deposit of $20.00 per participant is due from your group (single check or money order for the entire group) within 30 days after your reservation is confirmed. Please do not send full payment for the program in your deposit.

Please note that we cannot accept deposits on credit or debit cards or by phone. Your deposit (per participant) is non-refundable and reservations without timely deposits are subject to cancellation. We recommend that deposits be collected from each participant in advance. Accurate participant counts save you money and improve program organization.
Arrival Times
Bluespring Caverns Park is on Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Please do not arrive before gates open. Please do not arrive late as this delays programs for all groups. Late arrivals are likely to miss part of the program.

Registration Details
At registration, your group leader will need to present signed parental permission slips (tear-off panel on Overnight Adventure Brochure) for all participants below age 18. Please do not bring children under age 9. They will not be able to participate in all activities.
Payment for the balance of program cost must be made in one transaction (cash, check, or card) for the entire group. Your deposit is credited on a per-person basis to the $45.00 per person program cost.
Personal Equipment
Personal goods should be in small bag or backpack (no suitcases). Each participant should bring the following on their Overnight Adventure.
Please do not bring extra equipment as storage space is limited ( i.e. no cots, airbeds, tents, coolers, etc).
- wear old clothing & boots or sneakers for wild caving
- a dependable light source (a headlamp is preferred or flashlight) with extra batteries
- complete change of clothing (socks and shoes or boots included)
- warm sleeping bag and optional small pillow (no air beds, air mattreses, cots, or ground cloths)
- toothbrush
- small hand towel
- warm coat
- a canteen
- a plastic bag for dirty clothes
- a good attitude
Our Facilities
We are not a hotel. Our facilities are limited.
Restrooms and a snack bar are inside the cavern. Breakfast will be served the following morning.

- bunks with pads for sleeping bags
- a snack bar offering hot dogs, candies and crackers, soft drinks, hot chocolate, coffee, and bottled water at reasonable cost
- Visitor Center has Overnight patches ($2.50 to $3.00), gifts & souvenirs available for purchase the following morning
Caverns Rules
Alcoholic beverages & firearms are not allowed. Each participant is expected to be courteous and respect our property. Our staff will direct all activities, but we expect adult leaders to maintain positive attitude & order within their group,
Unacceptable conduct will result in a group being asked to leave and being banned from future participation. Destructive conduct is subject to prosecution under law.

Many dates are filled 60 to 90 days ahead of the date, so changes may not be possible. If some group members require special facilities, please contact us ahead of your date and we will do our best to meet their needs. Advance planning will enhance your Caverns experience.
